This collection documents the professional life of Thomas Sugrue, author, lecturer and journalist. Materials include articles, books, book promotional material, correspondence, lecture materials, magazines, manuscripts, a map, newsclippings, notes, pamphlets, and poetic works. He is most widely known as the author of There Is A River, the first biography of Edgar Cayce. The collection consists of research and manuscripts created during the writing process of There Is A River, as well as documentation on other works. Sugrue wrote works related to Edgar Cayce and to his own interests, as well as on assignment for various publications. Materials are available to view by appointment at the E.C.F. Archives.
