David E. Kahn

David E. Kahn was born in Lexington, Kentucky in 1893. He met Edgar Cayce when he was fifteen years old. The occasion was a reading which he was drafted to conduct for a neighbor. From that day until Edgar Cayce's death, David was a constant friend. Altogether he was responsible for three to five thousand readings in every category. He helped to start the Cayce Hospital, built in 1928, and was instrumental in introducing Edgar Cayce to the American Society for Psychical Research. He was dedicated to both the Association for Research and Enlightenment and to religious life. He married Lucille Kahn in 1927, and they had two sons. For further information, see book entitled My Life With Edgar Cayce, by David E. Kahn and Will Oursler, 1970.
